moving man

Things are moving along in my plans just fine now....

My parents paid to fix my tooth so I don't have a dreaded gap anymore. It was kind of funny when I went in to the dentist. I was told that they were going to examine it and then fix it on another date. After the dentist got a good look at my tooth I thought the appointment was over... but then I found my self surrounded by nurses and the dentist leaned in with a needle and said those wonderful words "You're going to feel a little bit of a pinch" as he injected my upper lip with novicane.
Needles don't bother me and the shot was nearly painless but damn.. can I get a little more then a 1 second warning!? I let him finish and then they all left the room, probably to gloat about their successful ambush.
When they returned the dentist asked me how I was doing and I replied "its numb but I was told that this visit was just going to be an examination today."
They froze for a second and the dentist replied "well we had an openning and decided to go ahead with it.... but I guess we should have told YOU about it first."
heheh.. ya think so?!

Anyway, back to the real news... I am commited to sharing an apartment with Al & Meg in Monterey now since they need me to help with the rent and I need them to get myself started in California. They are currently hunting for the cheapest 2 bed/1 bath apartment close enough to their school. I plan to live with them and find a basic job while I start making plans for getting work in my field, but right now I have no idea what to expect. There are also a few schools nearby that I could try to join as well but I am not sure about that either. I really need to see how long the commute is to the big cities and if I can manage doing that once a week or even daily.


I have the whole trek planned out now and I am almost more excited about it then I am about the big move so I have to blog about that next...but its time for me to go, so ttyl :P

who broke the internet?

Because I am having some problems here. Aparently everyone in the office, including me, is having problems viewing 9 out of 10 websites. We get the same error message as if the website wasn't even there. My coworker says a few of her friends in different states are having this same issue. So really.. someone fix it so I can get back to my normal mindless browsing while I am at work. I mean, I can't even view my own blog!? (but i can still use the dashboard)

This happened to me (and only me) friday as well and is the main reason I haven't made any new comments on my favorite blogs or made any new entries about my moving plans.
